In 05 I was deployed, while my life was a mess/
Its safe to say during those 8 months my ass was beyond depressed/
Mom was sick, refusing to lay in bed to her proper rest/
She was on edge and still doing her best/
While is Iraqi I was doing my best/
dealing with all the stress/
that was sitting on my chest/
I was scared when she hit Monmouth Med too many times she was having convos with death/
I made it through cause she stayed strong and made it through/
but why did God decide on this test to put me through/

truth is, that this recession os depressing/
Maybe its a message from God, sent and meant as a lesson/
And its a fact that ignorance is now used as a weapon of deception/
tell me how there's a lack of scholars, but not religious dollars/
